Sales Representative (Packaging Specialist)
Location: Atlanta, Georgia and Surrounding Area

We are currently looking for a Sales Professional (Packaging Specialist) to join our Produce Team working out of Georgia. Reporting to the Vice President of Produce, the successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business and managing existing accounts. Some International travel is required.
Develop and nurture long standing relationships with clients in Atlanta Georgia and surrounding area
Identify new business opportunities through effective market research, networking and prospecting to meet and exceed sales goals
Build relationships with both internal and external customers, working with other departments as a team to ensure we are following through with promises and upholding the high standards we promise
Maintain open communication and follow up with clients to ensure their satisfaction with delivery, quality and customer service
Maintain a strong corporate image and ambassador to the company’s brand
Represent Crawford Packaging ethically and professionally offering the best solutions for our customers
Research company’s products and services in order to provide and offer the best solutions for their business
Negotiate agreements with prospective and current clients
Maintain and track all activity through company CRM system, preparing service offers and quotes
Adapt and respond to changing conditions, priorities, technologies, and requirements
Attend and participate in training programs and other professional development
Ability to take initiative and work independently
Superior Customer Service skills
Ability to present impactful and compelling customer presentations
Effective organization and time management skills as well as a strong attention to detail
A competitive and assertive individual comfortable and experienced in gaining new business
Post-Secondary education in business or sales and industry experience required
3-5 years’ experience in a sales role, knowledge of produce packaging an asset
Proficient in Microsoft 365
Understanding of finance and basic budget setting processes
Superior interpersonal and both verbal and written communication skills
Ability to build and develop key industry/customer contacts by networking and integrating within the local market on a regular basis
Partner with suppliers to help drive sales and improve supplier support
Follow the company’s proven business strategy
Willing and able to travel internationally (Valid Passport)
Valid Driver’s license and own vehicle. Must be able to provide proof of insurance
