CRAWFORD CHRISTMAS CRAFTS: RUDOLPH THE CARDBOARD REINDEER

What you’ll need:

· Cardboard box

· Cotton balls

· Paint

· Pain Brush

· Marker

· Glue Gun

· Ruler

· Box Cutter

· Red pom-pom

Step 1:

Use the stencil and trace the outline on your cardboard box. Make sure to get every corner in the antlers. Once traced, cut the outline out with your box cutter.

Repeat Step 2 four times so you have identical reindeer cutouts. If the outlines don’t match up, don’t worry. Just use the box cutter to smooth out the edges until they are as similar as possible.

Step 3:

Using the hot glue gun, attach the 4 cardboard cutouts together on top of one another. For additional support, cut out and glue a rectangular cardboard cutout to the base of the reindeer’s feet.

Step 4:

Once the glue has dried, start painting. We went with red for the body and gold for the hooves, but you can choose other festive colours! Also, take this chance to glue the red pom-pom on as a nose.

Step 5:

Now you’re ready to add the final touch: the snow. Tear apart the cotton balls and hot glue it to the base. The thicker the coverage, the better.
