Crawford Packaging Acquires Celplast Packaging Systems Ltd.

We are excited to announce the acquisition of Celplast Packaging Systems Ltd and BVM USA.

Who is Celplast?

Celplast is a leading provider of shrink films, food trays and lids, lidding films and heat sealable films. The Company also has a deep line of packaging equipment for a variety of markets including food and produce packaging, beverage, print and publishing, building materials, contract packaging and industrial manufacturing.

Who is BVM USA?

BVM USA is the North American distribution arm of BVM Brunner equipment, based in Germany. BVM specializes in manufacturing high-quality innovative packaging machines. Since 1985 BVM has established its position among the leading manufacturers of shrink wrapping, overwrap, bundling, supplies transport and feeding equipment on the international market.

What Does this Mean for Crawford Packaging and their Clients?

This acquisition represents Crawford’s commitment to grow and expand our offering to clients across North America. The addition of Celplast Packaging Systems Ltd and BVM USA will strengthen Crawford’s Shrink It Right packaging program, increasing our service and equipment offerings for a variety of key market sectors.

Moving forward both companies will become divisions of Crawford Packaging, who will assist Celplast and BVM USA during the expansion period.
