The Protect It Right program works with clients to audit and review their existing protective packaging practices, materials and equipment. The program will identify areas of inefficiency and offer improvements to increase productivity and reduce per pack costs. The Protect It Right program has helped a wide variety of clients from e-commerce fulfillment centers to aircraft parts manufacturers. Through the Protect It Right program, clients have discovered ways to reduce their protective packaging costs by up to 30%.
Our Packaging Specialists will perform an in-depth review and audit of your existing protective packaging solution and procedures. This audit identifies areas that can be optimized to increase packaging speeds, reduce product damage, and improve pack standards. Protect It Right can involve the addition of automated packaging equipment or optimized protective packaging materials.

2 – Reduced Void Fill Waste
Void fill packaging machines produce packaging material on demand. This helps reduce the waste that is generated from the trimming and sizing of pre-produced void fill products.

Instapak foam packaging systems provide custom engineered, foam-in-place packaging at the tip of your fingers. Each Instapak system produces a custom fit foam solution for products of any shape and size. Instapak foam is created through a chemical reaction through the A and B foam components that increase in volume by up to 280%. As it rises, the foam creates a protective shell that offers incredible protection, cradling your product in a protective shell.
The Instapak® 900 & 901 systems are the workhorses of the Instapak® family. They provide custom, engineered foam-in-place protection, with the backing for Sealed Air reliability and ingenuity. This system uses 15-gallon cubes, 55-gallon drums or 275-gallon returnable and reusable totes. Operators place a layer of Instapak PE Film and add the first application of A and B components. As they mix the reaction increases in volume before hardening into a solid piece. As the foam rises, the employee folds over the Instapak Plastic Film to create the first level of the pack. The fragile part is placed in the box on top of the folded plastic liner. As the foam continues to rise, it expands around the part filling any void space. The second piece of Instapak Plastic Film is then placed over the top of the part, and the process is repeated to form the upper shell.
